The Valley Greyhound Stadium held its last amateur, independent race meeting on 29 July 2023. Since November 2023, the stadium has raced as Wales’s only professional, GBGB-licensed greyhound track and its races are beamed live all around the world. From the end of March 2024, meetings will be staged at the track on on three days a week: Sundays (11am), Tuesdays (3pm) and Thursdays (6.20pm).

The Valley Greyhound Stadium is Wales’s last remaining greyhound racing track. It is now a professional, licensed greyhound racing stadium but, for more than four decades, it was an indepedent ‘flapping’ track with amateur trainers racing their pet greyhounds against each other.
